Hip openers, forward bends, upper body and core strengthening converge into the grace and power of hand-balancing postures. Expect some vinyasa flow (twenty to thirty minutes) to build heat and plenty of steady and focused hatha-style work (sixty minutes) to launch into Bakansana (Crane Posture) cycle, Kukkutasana (Rooster Posture) cycle, and inversions. Expect clear instructions, step-by-step sequencing, hard work and lots of fun. Participants should have a regular practice of handstand and headstand, and be able to push the boundary with discernment. Please bring a strap, a block and a blanket.
